The Prize: 2024 Edition

The Winner: Vsevolod Zavidov

Born in Moscow in 2005, Vsevolod Zavidov began his musical training at the age of four with Tamara Koloss at the Central Music School of the Moscow Tchaikovsky Conservatory. He then studied with Tatiana Zelikman at the Gnessin Music School.

Vsevolod Zavidov is an alumnus of the Lieven Foundation and the Verbier Festival Academy.

In 2020 he won first prize at the 54th International Dvorak Concertino Prague and in 2022 first prize at the Gina Bachauer International Junior Piano Competition in Salt Lake City.

Since autumn 2023 Vsevolod Zavidov has been studying with Nelson Goerner at the Geneva University of Music.

Vsevolod Zavidov made his debut at age 8 in the Great Hall of the Tchaikovsky Conservatory in Moscow and 2016 marked his US debut in Weill Recital Hall in New York.

Since then, Vsevolod Zavidov has performed in recitals and concerts in Europe and Russia and has undertaken a tour of the Northeastern United States and Japan.

During the 2024-2025 season, Vsevolod Zavidov will give his first Geneva recital at the Salle Franz Liszt as part of the Great Performers series.

This season will also see him tour Japan.
