The Prize
The Radu Lupu Prize pays tribute to one of the greatest pianists of the 20th century, whose depth of interpretation and quest for authenticity continue to inspire future generations.
Created by the Fondation Radu Lupu, this prize aims to support and promote exceptional young artists, who share the same sensitivity and artistic standards as the late master. Each edition recognizes an emerging talent whose career and musical personality embody the spirit of excellence, poetry and truth that animated Radu Lupu.
